Luke Grimes Shares How Fatherhood Inspired a Major Part of His Career
Looks like Luke Grimes is translating an important part of his personal life into a career move that is close to his heart.
Back in October, the Yellowstone star announced he and his wife Bianca Rodrigues welcomed their first child, a son, together. Away from home, Luke has been busy promoting the final episodes of the Paramount Network series and going on the road to perform his country music to sold out audiences. Given how his self-titled album came out back in March and his life has dramatically changed since then, it would make sense that his life would inspire his art, right? Well, that's exactly what he told People in an article published on November 17, revealing that being a dad will definitely have an influence on the next album he's working on.
"Man, having my baby has changed everything in every way possible," he explained to the outlet. "I think people talk about your heart expanding a little bit every day, and it's so true. It's like there's a love growing inside of me that I didn't know I was capable of, and it's incredible and it's scary because you have so much more skin in the game... That's the biggest influence in my life right now."
So, will having a baby change how Luke feels about making music and the themes to come from it? As he added, he's hoping that his music will reflect this new stage of his life... to a point.
"Hopefully the music doesn't become this sort of cheesy love fest," he joked. "But I've got to be honest with how I feel and we will see what comes out of that."
Well, that's definitely an element of life to be inspired by! While Luke didn't exactly detail how having his son will play a part in the record making process, his little one is experiencing his dad's major career milestones alongside him.
When Luke played a show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on November 14, Bianca and their son were in the audience as moral support. What's more, Bianca documented their child's first concert on Instagram, making it all the more special that it was seeing his dad play live.
"Daddy played the Ryman!!!" she affectionately wrote alongside a series of photos.
We're seriously so obsessed with this!
