Loved ones remember Ashraf Sinclair on anniversary of his passing

19 Feb – It's been a year since Ashraf Sinclair passed away and his death is still felt by his loved ones, who recently took to social media to express their feelings about the loss.

Wife Bunga Citra Lestari, who recently released a song about her relationship with Ashraf titled, "Love Story", posted a sound clip of the song, and wrote, "I hope one day we'll sing this song together..."

She also posted photos of her and their son Noah visiting Ashraf's place of rest on 19 February, and expressed, "Hey Daddy, its been a year since you're gone... Today, we just want to tell you that it had not been an easy year for us, but we are okay... We are coping..."

"So, don't worry about us... Have a wonderful life there... We miss you," she added.

Singer-songwriter Yuna, who is married to Ashraf's brother Adam, also shared a compilation of photos from their last gathering, writing, "February 2020. We miss you everyday Abang Ash. I will cherish our last hangout session forever. This was a week before you left us a year ago."

As for Adam himself, he posted a photo of him with Ashraf and wrote, "One year. Miss [you], bro. Al-fatihah."

According to mother Khadijah "Dida" Sinclair, they have recently held a tahlil for Ashraf organised in Jakarta and was happy to be able to see Bunga and Noah again.

Ashraf passed away back on 18 February of last year after suffering from a heart attack at home in Jakarta. He was 40.
