Love Island 2019 contestants Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury might not have walked away with the £50,000 prize money at the end of their series, but the couple haven't done too badly when it comes to post-villa earnings. And when we say ~too badly~, we mean the pair have been absolutely raking it in.
What is Molly-Mae's net worth?
Before we even get to Instagram earnings, let's not forget the huge deals Molly-Mae's done with big brands like Pretty Little Thing. After leaving Love Island, the 21-year-old influencer landed a sponsorship deal with the online fashion retailer, which was reportedly worth £500,000. Then there was her deal with Beauty Works Hair Extensions which she secured straight after leaving the villa, and in late 2019 she also launched her very own line of tanning products. This September, she hit more than one million YouTube subscribers, which means she'll now also be earning even more money from ads on the platform.
But it's not all about the £££ for Molly as she turned down a £350,000 offer from retailer Missguided, who also said they'd throw in an £80,000 Range Rover to sweeten the deal. After seeing the Channel 4 Missguided documentary where the scenes aired, one stunned viewer tweeted: "Imagine being that rich to turn down 350k and an 80k range I want Molly Mae's life."
How much does Molly-Mae earn from Instagram posts?
As of September 2020, Molly has 4.8 million Instagram followers and regularly gets more than 250,000 likes on each post. Apparently, she can make more than £10,000 for each sponsored upload. The influencer recently created a huge buzz online when she launched an incredible fan giveaway, offering one fan the chance to win more than £8,000 worth of products, including Louis Vuitton bags and Apple gifts.
None of the products were sponsored and she bought everything herself. According to marketing agency SilverBean, it would have taken just six days for Molly to make her money back when taking into account her YouTube earnings and around three sponsored posts.
Meanwhile, Tommy is also cleaning up thanks to his boxing career, boohooMAN brand deal and sponsored posts, that have included Disney Plus and McDonalds. According to The Sun, Molly-Mae and Tommy have a very impressive combined net worth of £2million.
Right, now where do we need to go to sign up for Love Island 2021?
