“Love Is Blind”'s Zack and Bliss Look Back on Taking a 'Leap of Faith' with Each Other as They Mark 2-Year Anniversary

The couple, who tied the knot on season 4 of the Netflix hit and are now preparing to welcome their first child, said the last two years of marriage have been "the best two years of my life"

The Love Is Blind couple celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary on Thursday, May 7. In a joint post on Instagram, the duo looked back on their love story and how far they've come.

"Two years ago today, as we sat on the phone, about to make the craziest decision of our lives in front of all our friends and family, I never would have guessed where we would be today," Zack, 32, wrote in the post, which featured several maternity shoot photos. "We were clueless, diving headfirst into the unknown. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into."

"The only certainty I had was the love I felt in my heart for you, that I had found what I had been looking for my entire life. Thats all I needed," he continued. "Just to trust my heart and take a leap of faith."

"Thank you for making this the best two years of my life," Zack concluded. "Two years of bliss. Here’s to a lifetime more."

In response to the sweet post, Zack and Bliss' season 4 castmates sent well wishes in the comments section, including Tiffany Pennywell Brown, who wrote, "Happy Anniversary to the Goytowski’s!! You two are truly such wonderful people and a perfect match for each other. Here's to many more years together! Love you 💕"

Kwame Appiah also wrote, "Happy Anniversary to 2 of the most amazing humans I’ve ever encountered!!!"

The milestone comes as the pair, who met and got married on season 4 of the Netflix hit, are preparing to welcome their first child.

"It's a little bit nerve-wracking, but I think it's also such a beautiful thing," Bliss, 34, previously told PEOPLE of welcoming their first baby in spring 2024. "Babies are miracles and blessings, and I think we've been so open to sharing our journey and our relationship with the world, and this is our next big beautiful thing. I'm really happy and I hope that it brings joy to other people. It's definitely brought us a ton of joy."

Zack added, "I was incredibly happy. We both really wanted this and so we just felt really blessed that we were able to have this happen."

During season 4 of Love Is Blind, Zack was entangled in a love triangle in the pods with Bliss and fellow contender Irina Solomonova. He ultimately chose to break off his relationship with Bliss, later proposing to Irina. But the once-engaged pair mutually decided to end their relationship in Mexico. Zack then chose to pursue Bliss once more and later proposed. The two got married in the season 4 finale and they've been together ever since,

After tying the knot on the show, the couple settled down in Seattle and created a new life together. Along the way, they've overcome challenges — like Zack's debilitating allergies to Bliss's pets, which he sought out treatment for — and gotten stronger as a couple.

"We had to make a lot of big sacrifices for each other in our short marriage so far," Bliss told PEOPLE in September 2023. "I think him going through the physical aspect of having to get shots twice a week for long, long periods of time, and then me having to give up my animals, I think that was a really big, beautiful bonding moment for us, and learning that that's what a relationship is about, not only compromises in the small ways with chores or whatever, but the big things."

In November 2023, Bliss and Zack announced they were expecting their first child together, marking the very first public pregnancy announcement to come from a couple who tied the knot on Love Is Blind.

They later announced they were expecting a baby girl, sharing moments from their sex reveal party on their YouTube page in February. Days later, PEOPLE got an exclusive look into their baby shower, which was attended by some of their season 4 costars from the Netflix show.

"Chelsea [Griffin], Kwame, Brett [Brown], Tiffany, Marshall [Glaze], Kacia [Clark], Amber [Wilder] and April were all able to make it to the shower and we were so incredibly happy to have them there. It was so wonderful to have them there as they were there at the start of our journey in the pods together and we just feel so lucky that we're able to celebrate this next big milestone with them," Bliss shared at the time.

Zack added, "It was really special having all of our friends and family come together. We've all stayed really close since our time together in the pods and it's been awesome seeing everybody's journeys and so many of our friends in flourishing relationships."
