“Love Is Blind”'s Leo Can't Stop Reminding Us He's a Rich Art Dealer. Literally What Does That Mean? (Exclusive)

We've got an art-world nepo baby!

Love Is Blind just dropped season 7, and one of the hottest topics? Participant Leo Braudy, who was open to anyone and everyone (from producers to his many, many pod dates) about his art dealer job and self-described impressive financial status.

Though the rich art dealer (sorry, we had to) and his dates have insisted to PEOPLE that he didn't talk about his bank account quite as much it appears, fans aren't totally buying it.

"Hey guys, idk if you heard him loud and clear but Leo is a rich art dealer that is simply enjoying his inherited millions," wrote one viewer. Added another: "Leo every 5 seconds: I'm an art dealer I have a huge inheritance."

For the record, Braudy totally gets the discourse. "I really didn't feel like I spoke about it that much. Maybe I spoke about it more than I thought I did," he tells PEOPLE exclusively. "If people on the internet come after me, it is what it is.... I don't think people mean half the stuff they say on the internet anyway, so I think it's okay!"

In a hilarious scene, Braudy thanked Hannah Jiles (the two brought the drama this season with a deliciously frustrating love triangle) for seeming low-key about his job. But Jiles admitted that was simply because she wasn't entirely sure what being a (rich) art dealer entails — and PEOPLE is right there with her.

Below, we polled our staffers to help us figure it all out. (Admittedly, results may vary.)

The only art dealer energy I care about is Charlotte York Goldenblatt. (Oh, and never forget Anne Hathaway in The Idea of You.)

Cecilia de La Paz, West Coast Editorial Operations Manager

An art dealer is someone who has deep knowledge of art history but buys whoever resembles Banksy. For a lot of money. Or someone who has only a modicum of art knowledge.

Skyler Caruso, Writer-Reporter

An art dealer is an excuse you give when asked about the random clutter and bad wall-decor hung up around your apartment. “Oh this? Strictly business.”

Also: an excuse you give when questioned by legal authority what's in the bag. “No no, I'm just an art dealer!”

Daniela Avila, Music Writer-Reporter

To me, an art dealer sounds like someone who majored in art, couldn't find a job, and now makes money selling a vague service to people and businesses to enhance an environment. But remember, art is subjective — so only the ones that get it, get it.

Carly Breit, Senior Platforms Editor

I, too, am an art dealer (if putting Taylor Swift vinyls all over my room counts).

Janine Rubenstein, Editor at Large

An art dealer is a big dealer to themselves and others who identify as big dealers and high rollers with high walls that they want to make a big deal out of.

Jokes aside, Leo explains that he felt it was important to share his background with the women as it's a large part of his identity.

"It was, I guess, only important in the sense that I was trying to just be authentic about who I was, but a lot of the talk about that was in the context of family," he says. "And for me, continuing on my family's business is something I am proud of. So whoever I would be with would be, it's more than a marriage. Business is a real part of what someone would be involved in, so it was relevant conversations."

Episodes 1-6 of Love Is Blind season 7 are now streaming on Netflix, and episodes 7-9 will drop on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
