"One of my favourites is definitely the Colin Firth storyline," she said.

Colin played Jamie, who after discovering his girlfriend was cheating on him with his brother, retreated to France where he fell in love with housekeeper Aurelia, despite them not speaking the same language.

"That was so funny and so sweet and the fact that he learnt Portuguese and he was so lovely to work with too. I just loved how it was shot," Martine added. "I just thought it was so sweet when he went back to the restaurant to get her and the whole family are marching behind him."

"I also love the Emma Thompson storyline because she is such a good actress and it's just so heartbreaking when she knows the necklace was never for her," she said. "Every time I see that clip, I am just stopped in my tracks and I get a lump, I get so choked by it."

Martine has teamed up with NOW TV to launch a Greetings Gram service, which allows people the opportunity to send loved ones a personalised, socially distanced doorstep message printed on cards and performed by a messenger.

"Many times I've been approached about things to do with Love Actually and I feel like it needs to be the right fit," she said.

"I thought this year, the message of love and the doorstep greeting service from NOW TV is a perfect fit. Now more than ever people need that human connection and message of love. Now that it's linked with such a film that makes people feel loved and happy watching, it really felt like it was the right fit."
