Long Lines Reported for Early Voting in Oklahoma

A long line of cars waited to access an already full carpark at Oklahoma City’s County Election Board on October 29 on the first day of the state’s early in-person voting.

The voting began after a powerful ice storm hit the state on Monday, knocking out power to thousands of people.

Polls were open from 8am to 6pm at most of the 77 county election board offices on Thursday and Friday and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday. Local media reported long wait times on Thursday.
