London's Trafalgar Square Evacuated Ahead of Jubilee Celebrations

London’s Trafalgar Square was briefly evacuated on June 4 ahead of a third day of planned celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the evacuation and asked people to avoid the area. The force later said the incident had ended and police would remain on-scene and reopen the square.
