London’s Metropolitan Police broke up a “dangerous rave” attended by over 150 people on October 4, saying the gathering “recklessly breached the coronavirus regulations.”
Police were called by local residents who had reported violence in the streets. Upon arrival, police found people gathered inside a derelict pub. Bodycam footage shows officers telling those inside to leave.
The organizer was reported for a £10,000 fine, police said, in line with new COVID-19 restrictions.
