Sagrada Familia's completion date has been delayed
due to the global health crisis

Revenues have plummeted, halting construction work for nine months

"It could be in 2030, 2035, 2040. I would be lying if I were to say a precise date because we do not know, when we will be in a position to do it. As soon as tourists comes to the city and we have a stable flow of income, then we can determine the new date for finishing the works."
The temple has been under construction for a very long time
Gaudi worked on it from 1883 until his death in 1926

"There has always been this willingness of the Construction Board and the people of the city to say go ahead, we must continue and our goal is that the project that Gaudi dreamt of becomes a reality and can be finished."
