KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 — Homegrown vocal group Tapestry is set to perform an intergenerational music show this month to champion two noble causes.

Aptly named Time after Time, Tapestry’s show will tap into the rhythms and melodies that has enticed audience for the last eight decades, from evergreen classics like Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love to current hits like Butter and Dynamite by BTS.

Alongside the musical treat, Tapestry will feature dramatic vignettes centred on the parent-child relationship theme that resonates across generations.

Proceeds from the show will go to Project R.ED (Reimagine Education), a non-governmental organisation that offers educational training for refugee kids and Pertubuhan Komuniti ELITE, an NGO that is building roads to bridge nine indigenous community villages in Ranau, Sabah.

The Time After Time musical will be performed at the KuAsh Theatre in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) at 8.30pm on October 6 and 7, followed by matinee shows at 3pm on October 7 and 8.

Tickets are priced at RM119 and RM109, with concession tickets available for children aged between four and 12 and students with valid IDs at RM99 and RM89, respectively.
