Living turd allegedly attacks security guard with golf club after car clamped

Police have arrested the suspect behind an attack on a Nepalese security guard over the weekend over the clamping of an illegally parked car in a handicapped (OKU) parking space at Traders Square in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur.

The 24-year-old male suspect was recorded by a horrified witness to the assault shortly after he struck the guard on the head with a golf club that he procured from his car boot. Shocked, the victim can be seen clutching the side of his head as he profusely bleeds on the road.

Witnesses reported that at 1:30pm Sunday, the suspect and another male parked a Honda Jazz in the OKU space. Having seen the men parking illegally, the guard followed procedure and clamped the vehicle, later telling the suspect that he had to go to the management office to pay a fine if he wanted it to be released.

Unwilling to pay the fines for his infraction, the suspect reportedly flew into a rage after the guard tried to stop him from removing the clamp himself, shouting at the man doing his job, and punching him in the face.

Things escalated even further when the suspect went to his car to fetch a golf club, then allegedly used it to strike the guard’s head.

A clip detailing the incident was uploaded to the restaurant-grievances-and-bike-tricks-centric Facebook group We Are Malaysians, where commentators flew into an angered frenzy over the man’s actions.

Hell hath no fury like a Facebook group appalled, and within hours, members of the group managed to track down a man they say was the individual in the clip.

A profile shared by the wannabe internet sleuths claims that the man lives in the Gombak area of the city, but is originally from Terengganu. Police have confirmed that the suspect in custody is indeed from the east coast state.

What’s more, a witness at the scene further claimed that she saw the men fiddling with parked motorcycles, alleging that they were trying to unlock them, sharing a photo as evidence.

Police have yet to disclose the suspect’s name, but have confirmed that he has a previous drug record.

The case is being investigated for causing hurt by dangerous weapons under Section 324 of the Penal Code.
