SINGAPORE – The demands of modern living have relegated most of us to living life on auto-pilot. Almost two years in, the pandemic may have jolted some of us to reflect on our lives and to recalibrate. Many would have realised by now that there are too many things beyond our control. However, one thing we can actively do is give our best every day and live life intentionally. A brand that fully embraces this philosophy is The Paper Bunny (TPB), a homegrown lifestyle store that wishes to “inspire and equip people to live their own version of their best life every day, with a sense of wonder and adventure.“

After eight years of digital presence, TPB, a one-stop-shop for intentional everyday living, has evolved into an omnichannel shopping experience. The brand launched its first retail store in the heart of Orchard Road last Saturday on 9 October.

What’s new?

Fans familiar with thepaperbunny.com can continue exploring the complete online offerings, including all-time favourite brands like Stasher, W&P Porter, and Stojo at the new retail store. Those new to TPB can look forward to thoughtful gifts to functional everyday items like diaries (a TPB staple), clothes, bags, accessories and more.

Now that most of us are working from home, the TPB has added a new category – Home & Self – filling the gap for thoughtfully made, well-priced quality home and self-care products. Expect everyday items like hand washes, room sprays, hand creams, bath salts and more.

In line with TPB’s ethics, you will find cult brands like Slowhouse, Rbow, Woods Copenhagen, Dew It, Saltrain, as well as homegrown beauty e-tailer Beaubit decking the TPB shelves with a distinct range of organic and premium home and self-care products.

Nothing is left to chance when it comes to hygiene. The TPB management ensures that you can shop with peace of mind. In addition, key store areas are outfitted with high quality Made in Japan Lonprotect wallpaper with antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Yahoo Life SEA chats with Jaime Lee, Co-founder and Creative Director of The Paper Bunny, to find out more about the new retail store, gifting ideas as well as her take on intentional living.

Yahoo Life SEA: Tell us more about The Paper Bunny and what shoppers can expect from the brand

TPB is a one-stop-shop for everyday intentional living. Our specially curated pieces are great in aesthetic and practical items that add to your daily life. We have organisational tools from functional bags to super comfy tops and items to kickstart your sustainability journey – there’s just so much that goes into each product. We hope that customers walk away from TPB, having made great choices that genuinely add to their everyday lives rather than just buying another thing.

As an entrepreneur and a parent, what’s your approach towards wellness and intentional living?

Taking personal time out to recharge is something I think is incredibly important for holistic wellness and sanity. Everyone copes with the things that life throws at us differently. I find that making time to exercise, going out for a meal or spending time in nature to break the routine and gain new inspiration helps me reset and put things in perspective. It is important to take quality moments for yourself to be the best teammate/parent/ companion to the people around you. This, to me, is intentional living.

What is the one item from TPB you would recommend for oneself and a loved one for Christmas gifting?

Some of our other popular items for Christmas gifting are our sandwich bags and reusable bags – they make great little gifts and come in so many different designs that there's bound to be one for everyone.
