Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall has come out on top after taking a hilarious swipe at Noel Gallagher on music panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
The High Flying Birds frontman had insulted The X Factor winners after they became the first girlband to with The Brit Award for British Group, saying they were "not in the same league as Oasis".
Thirlwall, 28, addressed Gallagher's comments when she appeared on the quiz show, saying: "Noel did [insult us]. Which was a real shame because as you know I'm a big fan of High Flying Birds s***ting on us."
She went on: "[He said] something about that we were undeserving of the Brit Award because we’re women and don’t — well we do write music — but he thinks we don’t write music.

"Yeah, shame really, because you know, we are definitely the most successful girl group in the country, but he’s not even the most successful performer in his family!"
Gallagher rose to fame with his younger brother Liam who was the lead singer of Oasis.
Thirlwall and her Little Mix bandmates — Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock — made history as the first all-female band to win the Brit Award for British Group at the ceremony in May this year.
Afterwards Gallagher, 54, said: "Little Mix, with the greatest respect, are not in the same league as Oasis. Not even in the same f***ing sport.
"It’s a symptom of the music business chasing the numbers – and there not being any bands or songwriters in those bands."
Oasis won the award in 1996.
Accepting the award Thirlwall had said on stage: "The fact that a girl band has won this award really does speak volumes, so this is not just for us, its for the Spice Girls, All Saints and all of the incredible girl bands."
