Lithuanian Police Chase Ends in Crash After Driver Flees Checkpoint
A Lithuanian police chase ended in a dramatic crash after a driver fled a sobriety test near the town of Kyviskes, video posted by police shows.
Lithuanian Police said they began following the car when it dodged a checkpoint early on September 15.
The footage shows the ensuing pursuit, as the suspect’s car veers in and out of traffic, until eventually it serves out of control and off the road.
Police said “car parts were scattered all over the field from the car” following the crash.
Police said the driver was found to have a blood alcohol level about three times the Lithuanian limit.
