OFFICES

- Oasis Square, Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Three Covid-19 cases have been detected here between Feb 18 to 23, the management said in two separate notices to unit owners and tenants.

The Feb 23 case involves a staff member at Block E, who was last at Oasis Square on Feb 19, the management said in the notices sighted by Malaysiakini.

The said office has been disinfected while other staff there have tested negative for the virus.

The other two cases at Oasis Square involved a member of the office tower maintenance team and the car park management team, who tested positive on Feb 18.

All common areas are disinfected on a daily basis, it added.


MARKETS

- The Market Place OUG, Taman Overseas Union, Kuala Lumpur

A stall owner has been tested positive for Covid-19, according to a notice uploaded on the market's Facebook page earlier today.

It stated that full disinfection has been conducted at the premises.

Customers are advised to adhere to all SOPs by keeping their physical distance, wear masks and wash their hands often.

- Bidor Market, Perak

A cluster of 25 cases has been detected at this market, the Health Ministry said.

The index case is a trader detected through screening of patients with severe acute respiratory infection (Sari).

The local council had closed the market earlier this week for disinfection but did not state if there were Covid-19 infections detected.


RESIDENCES

- Taman Bukit Cermin, Mentakab, Temerloh, Pahang

According to the Pahang Health Department, a case was detected here on Monday.

The individual is part of the Jalan Telok Ira cluster, traced to an education institution there.

Housing estates in the Jalan Telok Ira area were placed under enhanced movement control order on Feb 21.

- Taman Mawar, Sandakan, Sabah

A cluster of cases was traced to a Chinese New Year gathering on Feb 12, held at a residence here, Sabah government spokesperson on Covid-19 Masidi Manjun said.

The index case was detected on Feb 22 through symptomatic screening at a private clinic.

All 14 family members tested as close contacts were found to be Covid-19 positive, he said.

- Jalan Muhibbah, Bentong, Sarawak

A cluster of cases was traced to a private gathering held at a residence here on Feb 10, Sarawak deputy chief minister Douglas Uggah said.

The index case, a 50-year-old man, developed symptoms on Feb 14 and was found Covid-19 positive on Feb 16.

A total of 18 cases have been detected in this cluster, he said.

One case was located in Taman Dagang (Simpang Kanan), Taman Putera Indah and Kampung Sungai Jambit Rengit respectively, while Taman Jaya in the Sri Medan subdistrict recorded three cases yesterday.

A total 13 Covid-19 cases were detected in the Kota Tinggi district yesterday, the local health office said. They are:

This workers' dormitory will be placed under an enhanced movement control order from tomorrow until Mar 10.

Up to Feb 21, 125 of the 349 residents screened tested positive for Covid-19. Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.

- Kampung Sinsingon, Nabawan, Sabah

A cluster of Covid-19 cases is linked to a funeral held at this village from Feb 17 to 20, attended by the index cases.

The cases were detected through screening of individuals returning to their dormitories, the Health Ministry said.

To date, 18 of the 106 individuals screened have tested positive for the virus.


EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

- SK Sacred Heart, Semeba, Kuching, Sarawak

An employee here tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

The person was at the school from Feb 8 to 17 from 7.30m to 5pm.


PLACES OF WORSHIP

- Masjid Kampung Endap, Samarahan, Sarawak

A person who tested positive for Covid-19 visited here on Feb 12 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.


BUSINESSES

- ST Rosyam Mart, Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur

It is learned that Covid-19 positive cases were detected among staff members of this supermarket.

However, the number of cases could not be ascertained yet. The company when contacted today declined to comment. A spokesperson said the screening process is still ongoing, and they would issue a statement later.

Setiawangsa MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad when contacted said that authorities have acted on the case there.

"From what I was informed, the National Security Council and Health Ministry have taken action. Staff members (of the mart) have been quarantined, and deep cleaning works were carried out," he said.

- Aeon Supermarket, Queensbay Mall, Bayan Lepas, Penang

The supermarket has been ordered by the Health Ministry to close for disinfection starting today.

According to a notice by management, the store is closed until further notice, but did not state if this is due to Covid-19 infections among staff.

- Cherang Ruku Police Station, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan

A detainee at this police station's lock-up has tested positive for Covid-19.

The detainee is part of the Tembok Pengkalan Chepa cluster, first detected in the Pengkalan Chepa Prison.
