Lisa Surihani and Yusry Abd Halim are having another child

25 Feb –Filmmaker Yusry Abd Halim recently announced that he and wife Lisa Surihani are welcoming their third child.

The director, who earlier posted a photo of him and Lisa to celebrate their nine-year anniversary, shared on 24 February, "After uploading pictures in conjunction with the wedding anniversary with my wife, there were those who were puzzled whether my wife is pregnant. Today, there is even a reporter asking for confirmation. Without the intention of wanting to hide, we just take the approach with the mindset that maybe this time, "no need for announcements, sooner or later, people will know"."

Yusry stated that they are very grateful for the blessings and that the news was already shared to friends and family.

"At the same time, we couldn't help but think of how there are also those who try for many years to have children. It is not an easy thing to go through, and we pray for them, may their prayers be answered. Allah knows best what is best for them," he said, adding that there are also so many other things that needed more attention during this pandemic.

"May Allah protect us all. Thank you to those who are willing to pray for the best for us. Stay safe everyone," he added.

Yusry and Lisa are already parents to five year-old Yahaira Leanne and four year-old Yusof Leone.
