Lionsgate Promotes Kate Nexon To President, Domestic TV & Digital Distribution
Kate Nexon has been promoted at Lionsgate.
Nexon becomes President, Domestic TV & Digital Distribution. She was previously EVP, Domestic TV and Digital Distribution.

In the new role, Nexon will oversee North American sales, strategy and planning for the company’s first-run film and television pipelines and library.
This will now include programming from eOne after Lionsgate agreed to acquire the company from Hasbro, adding thousands of titles to its film and TV library.
She has been with Lionsgate for 14 years, having started in the home entertainment division before joining the TV distribution division, beginning with a basic cable and pay TV purview. She has overseen a team that has generated nearly $2B in revenue over the past three fiscal years.
This includes the sale of the digital rights of Schitt’s Creek to Hulu and Nexon was also involved in the sale of The Continental to Peacock as well as deals for religious drama The Chosen with Peacock, The CW and Amazon.
