Lindsay Lohan's Plunging LBD Was a Masterclass in Winter Party Wear
She's in her Christmas movie heroine era.
Lindsay Lohan is in her Netflix Christmas rom-com era—and her fashion proves it.
The actor, who signed a three festive film deal with the streamer two years ago, was spotted out in New York City yesterday looking like—well—a true festive rom-com heroine. Her stylish look served chic evening wear with a cozy, wintery twist.
Lohan wore a tiny black minidress with a plunging keyhole cutout on the chest. She paired the LBD with sheer black tights, black knee-high heeled boots, and a woven black tote bag. She kept warm with a black double breasted coat with large gold statement buttons and a round neckline. She wore her blonde hair in long waves and a side part—after all, she is queen of the Millennials. Finally, she completed the look with a pair of oversized sunglasses.
Lohan was paying a visit to the Bravo Clubhouse along with her mother, Dina, and former co-star Lacey Chabert. Lohan and Chabert were possibly there to film a press segment—both have upcoming holiday rom-coms coming out on Netflix this year.
Lohan's film, Our Little Secret, is her third rom-com with the streamer. She stars alongside Pretty Little Liars' Ian Harding as a woman who has to spend Christmas with her ex because, as it turns out, their new partners are siblings.
Meanwhile, Chabert stars in Hot Frosty, a film about—well—a sexy snowman who comes to life (Yes, it is a must-watch.) with Schitt's Creek's Dustin Milligan.
It seems Netflix is keen on making their holiday cinematic universe a thing because there is a bit of Christmas movie inception in Hot Frosty. Chabert and Milligan's characters are actually shown watching a clip of Lohan's previous Netflix rom-com, Falling for Christmas.
"That is so funny," says Chabert's character in the film. "That looks just like a girl I went to school with." Of course, this is a nod to Lohan and Chabert's 2003 classic, Mean Girls.
Speaking to Cat Quinn, Chabert said, "I'm so happy that Lindsay and I have reunited through our Netflix movies. We've known each other since we were little kids and it feels like such a full circle moment."
