Lightning Streaks Across Alabama Sky as State Hit With Severe Weather

Frequent lightning flashed over Orange Beach, Alabama, early on March 18, as the Gulf Coast was hit by severe weather, amid flash flooding and tornadoes in the state.

This footage, shared by Marc-Alan Gray in the early hours of March 18, shows several flashes. “I have not seen this frequency of lightening strikes before,” he wrote on Twitter.

According to local news reports, there were 17 tornados reported across Alabama during the stormy weather.
