A doctor captured footage of strong winds, rain and lightning lashing a hospital in Mazatlan, Mexico, as Tropical Storm Pamela hit the Pacific coast.
Footage by Daniel Flores shows the extreme weather outside IMSS hospital in the Sembradores de la Amistad neighborhood.
The National Hurricane Center initially reported Pamela made landfall northwest of Mazatlan as a hurricane. It was then downgraded to a tropical storm by Mexican authorities.
Mexico’s National Meteorological Service said the storm had maximum sustained wind speeds of 62 mph, and warned of possible landslides and flooding in low-lying areas. Credit: Dr Daniel Flores via Storyful
