Lightning Flashes Over Fort Wayne Amid Record-Breaking Storm
Severe storms passed over large portions of Indiana on Monday, June 13, bringing a recorded wind gust of 98 mph at Fort Wayne International Airport.
The National Weather Service said the gust was the strongest ever recorded at the airport. The service said the winds caused significant damage, with golf ball-sized hail and flooding also reported.
