Lightning Flashes Across Austin Sky as Thunderstorms Roll Through Central Texas

Lightning streaked across the sky above Austin on the evening of Thursday, March 16, as a line of storms moved across central Texas, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

This footage from Ryan Proctor shows lightning illuminating the sky.

“Shortly after 9 pm I started to notice lightning and took the dogs out before the rain started,” Proctor told Storyful. “This is what we saw and this went on for several minutes!”
