"Life on the Line" cast finally celebrates TVB Awards win
16 Jan – Nearly a month after bagging the most accolades at the TVB Anniversary Awards, the cast of "Life on The Line" were finally reunited at their celebratory dinner, which was held on 7 January at the Prince Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
As reported on On CC, lead actor Joe Ma, who also won TV King, revealed that it was his close friend who sponsored the ten-table banquet, after promising to do so in the past.
"He once told me that he would sponsor me a two-table banquet if I win. But I lost each year, so last year, he promised me ten. I didn't think he would fulfill his promise after I won, but then he asked me to bring the whole cast to celebrate since we won Best Series," he enthused.
Joe added that he is thankful for the said friend for his kindness and support.
When asked if there will be a sequel to the said drama, the actor said that he hasn't been informed of such a plan for now. He also admitted to have no idea whether he will be filming another TVB series this year.
"We haven't discussed anything. It will depend on the script and the timing," he added.
