Half the battle of vacuuming is the clean up after you've finished cleaning your floors. You know, clearing out all the dust and debris that your vacuum just sucked up. Sure, there are robot vacs that can empty themselves, but if you prefer stick vacuums, there's not a lot of options for convenient self-cleaning. Well, LG just unveiled a new cordless vacuum that can empty itself.

The latest addition to LG's CordZero line, the ThinQ A9 Kompressor+ is designed to make cleaning easier than ever. The upgraded model features interchangeable nozzles that let you switch from a vacuum to a mop. Lightweight, yet powerful, the Kompressor+ can tackle everyday messes on hardwood floors and carpets.

Even better, the vacuum comes with a new charging station stand with a fully automated dust removal system. When the vacuum is docked in the stand, everything in the dustbin container is automatically sucked into the charging station and collected in a dust bag. Once the cleaning process is complete, the vacuum continues to recharge. Plus, you can easily control the charging stand settings thanks to its full touch display. Designed to maximize space, the multifunctional stand can also store and accommodate the vacuum's six accessories and nozzles.

LG will be releasing a launch date and pricing of the new CordZero ThinQ A9 Kompressor+ and charging station in the coming months. In the meantime, you can find out more details about the vacuum when it debuts at LG's CES 2021 virtual exhibition booth on Jan 11.
