Levi Wright's Mom Says He Couldn't Be Weaned Off Sedation in Emotional Update: 'Heartbreaking to Watch'
The mom of three added that she "could not do this" without her husband, rodeo star Spencer Wright
Levi Wright's mother is sharing the latest on her toddler's condition following his accident.
On Thursday, May 30, Kallie Wright, who shares son Levi, 3, with rodeo star Spencer Wright, shared the heartbreaking update on Facebook where she revealed that their boy was back under sedation after “he did not handle” being weaned off it and was being kept “comfortable” as they awaited the next stage of his treatment.
“The 24 hour eeg [electroencephalogram], didn't tell us much different from the first but it was one of the things we felt we needed to do again,” Kallie wrote about Levi, who has been hospitalized in a critical condition since driving his toy tractor into a Utah river on May 21.
“They are keeping Levi comfortable, they attempted to wean sedation and he did not handle it. It was heartbreaking to watch & he is now heavily sedated until the next step,” she explained. “The MRI is tomorrow. It may show a difference from the first, it may not. We are checking & double checking all we can!”

“Again, Levi is our number 1 priority in all of this. We are having several conversations a day with doctors, rehabs, neurologists etc to help us better serve him! “ Kallie added.
The mom of three went on to say that “many miracles have already surrounded us during this tragedy” as she thanked the public for their prayers and support for her family.
Kallie also noted the support she’s received from her husband during this difficult time.
“... I know a lot of you are worried about Spencer & I. I can say this in full confidence, I could not do this without him,” she continued. “I already knew we made a hell of a team but this is showing how strong we really are together. If we didn't have each other then you could worry, but we have who we really need by our sides!”
