Lei of Aloha Brought From Hawaii to Uvalde School Shooting Memorial

A large lei from Hawaii was presented to the community in Uvalde, Texas, on June 4, in support for grieving families following the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School.

The lei was orgnised by the group Lei of Aloha for World Peace, which had arranged similar leis in the wake of other tragedies including the mass shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2019 and the Pulse nightclub shooting in Florida in 2018.

This video posted to Facebook by the organizers shows the lei being delivered to the community while people sing happy birthday to mark the 10th birthday of Ellie Garcia, one of the victims of the shooting.
