Lego announces massive Harry Potter collector's set to celebrate 20 years of partnership

It's been 20 years since the first Harry Potter Lego sets were released, with 11 designs launched by the toy brand to coincide with the release of the first first Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
To commemorate the emerald anniversary of the relationship between the two pop culture behemoths, Lego is launching a magical new set that is sure to send fans into a frenzy.
The brand-new Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition is a 3,010-piece set that includes some of the most famous characters and moments in one stunning collection.
The centrepiece of the set is a lavishly detailed Hedwig, Harry's owl, clutching his letter from Hogwarts.
Also included is Harry’s wand and glasses, a chocolate frog, a potions tray including five potion bottles and ingredients, as well as Tom Riddle’s diary, the Golden Snitch and a school scarf which is customisable to match any Hogwarts House.

Measuring over 44cm high, 50cm wide and 33cm deep, it's completed with a bespoke stand and celebratory tile to mark the 20th anniversary of LEGO Harry Potter.
The set also comes with a trio of exclusive anniversary golden Lego minifigures, including Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus Hagrid, as seen together in the first scene of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collector’s Edition Set will be available from 2 September, 2021 from Lego Stores and www.lego.com/harrypotter at a recommended price of £249.99.
