At Least Six Homes Damaged by Fire Burning in Czech National Park

At least six homes were damaged by a fire in Mezna, Czech Republic, by Tuesday, July 26, an official said via local media, after residents of Hrensko were forced to evacuate the night before.

Video filmed by journalist Ray Baseley shows a firefighter extinguishing flames at a burnt home in the village of Mezna, which is an administrative part of Hrensko, on Tuesday morning.

The Fire and Rescue Service said 410 firefighters, four helicopters, and two planes were deployed to battle the blaze on Tuesday morning.
