At Least Eight Dead After 22-Vehicle Collision in Utah

At least eight people were killed and several more critically injured when a sandstorm caused a series of crashes on Interstate 15 in Millard County, Utah, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on July 25, when authorities say high winds caused a sandstorm, reducing visibility for drivers of the 22 vehicles involved in the massive pileup.

At least 10 people were transported to hospitals. Three people were reported to be in critical condition.

This video, taken by Macy Langston as she passed the wreckage, shows authorities examining the scene as dust lingers in the air. The incident occurred between the Kanosh and Meadow exits of I-15.
