Law Lan laughs off rumours of Bowie Wu's proposal
23 Nov – Veteran actress Law Lan (also known as Helena Law) has laughed off rumours that good friend Bowie Wu has supposedly proposed to her.
As reported on Oriental Daily, earlier this week, it was reported that the 90-year-old singer and actor popped the question to Helena backstage at his concert.
The two also reportedly stated that they are not going to throw a big banquet, only to support each other and spend time together.
When asked about it, Helena laughed heartily and asked the reporter, "What do you think? Of course it's fake news!"
The actress stated that she regarded the rumour as a joke, adding that while she did attend the concert, Bowie did not propose to her.
"I don't know where the rumours came from. I know Bowie for more than half a century. I am also very familiar with his late wife," she said.
Helena also predicted that there could be more rumours in the future about the two of them, since they will both co-produce an upcoming TVB drama.
