Last Day of Early Voting in Oklahoma Draws Long Lines to Polls

Voters in Oklahoma County gathered at the polls early Saturday morning, October 31, as the state opened its final day of early in-person voting ahead of the November 3 presidential election.

Voters braved windy, chilly conditions as they lined up at the city’s one polling location, the Oklahoma City Board of Elections, early Saturday morning. Polls were scheduled to be open from 9 am to 2 pm.

Lines were also reported on Friday, with the State Election Board reporting that nearly 115,000 in-person early votes had been cast in the state, along with a record-breaking 255,000 ballots mailed in statewide. Credit: @OrangeSoylent via Storyful
