Las Vegas Marks Fourth Anniversary of Mass Shooting

A remembrance ceremony was held at the Las Vegas Community Healing Garden on October 1, on the fourth anniversary of the 2017 Mandalay Bay hotel shooting.

Footage released by the City of Las Vegas shows a US flag at half-staff as the ceremony was underway.

KTNV Las Vegas said that shortly after 10 pm, a bell tolled and a candle was lit in remembrance of each of those who died when a gunman opened fire on a crowd of people from his hotel room. Fifty-eight people were killed during the attack, and two others died later following the shooting. More than 850 people were injured.
