Large Tile Factory Bombed in Donetsk, Ukrainian Official Says

A ceramic-tile factory was destroyed by Russian strikes in Sloviansk, located in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, on Wednesday, July 13, according to a Ukrainian official.

“The destruction of such a plant is a serious blow to the economy of the region,” said Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

Zeus Ceramica mainly produces ceramic tiles for commercial and home use. According to their website, 30 percent of their products are sold in the United States, Europe, and Canada, and their clients include Toyota and Chevrolet.
