Large Crowd of Protesters Gather After Italian Senate Blocks Hate Crime Bill

Protesters took to the streets of Milan, Italy, on October 28, after the country’s senate voted down proposed legislation to ban discrimination on the grounds of “sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and disability.”
