Landspout Spotted Over Tucson During Severe Thunderstorms

A landspout was spotted over the sky in Tucson, Arizona on Thursday, August 25.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued severe thunderstorm and flood warnings for southern parts of Tucson on Thursday as a storm moved through the area.

Tucson International Airport received 0.71 of an inch of rain Thursday evening, with central Tucson receiving 0.31 of an inch, the NWS said.
