Italian emergency services responded to more than 100 incidents on the night of November 22-23 as heavy rainfall battered Genoa and surrounding areas.
Several roads in the city were closed and more than 100 people were stranded in buildings by landslides and floods, according to Italian media.
Up to 193 millimeters fell in three hours in Genoa suburbs, media said.
