Lady Gaga Went Pantless With Monster Platform Heels for a Grungy Date Night

She's back in her rock star era.

Just weeks after sporting demure daywear and high-drama red carpet couture at the Venice Film Festival, Lady Gaga is back to serving rock star. The Joker: Folie à Deux actress swapped the coiffed blonde curls and midi-length LBDs for grunge rebellion as she stepped out for a casual date night with fiancé Michael Polansky on Monday. Gaga went completely pantless for her night on the town, accentuating her legs with one of her sky-high footwear staples.

A pair of towering monster platform boots in shiny black patent leather were the main character of Gaga’s outfit. The Victorian-style lace-up booties—which climbed up to the “Applause” singer’s mid-calf—featured a modern twist, thanks to the leather material and several inches of platform that gave Gaga’s stature a significant lift.

The multi-hyphenate paired the statement shoes with another grunge staple: Black fishnet tights, as well an oversized T-shirt that Gaga styled like a dress without any pants underneath. The baggy black shirt, which reached several inches past her fingertips, read, “You’re listening to radio.” She went for cool-girl, minimalist beauty for her weekday date night, pulling her icy blonde hair into a sleek ballerina bun and adding a dash of rose lip gloss. Black cat-eye sunglasses, Celine's Teen Nino bag, and large bauble earrings added the finishing touches to the singer’s outfit.

Meanwhile, Polansky complemented his partner’s aesthetic with a pair of black sunglasses, black pants, and an olive green long-sleeved shirt. He topped off his ‘fit with sneakers and a baseball cap.

Lady Gaga recently revealed that her mom was the one who initially told her about the tech investor in a September 5 interview with Vogue.

“My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband,’" Gaga told the magazine. "I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?"

The rest was history after she finally ran into Polansky at a party and the pair instantly clicked.

“I had never met anyone like Michael,” Gaga gushed about her husband-to-be. “He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different. He’s a very private guy and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other.”
