Lady Gaga Dropped a Response to Everyone Speculating That She’s Pregnant
Yesterday’s tabloid news cycle was dominated by (rude, tired—pick your fave adjective) speculation about Lady Gaga being pregnant thanks to some photos that leaked from her sister’s wedding. And the musician wasted no time shutting that narrative down!
Gaga hopped on TikTok late in the day on Tuesday (June 4) and wrote the following: “Not pregnant—just down bad cryin at the gym.” She then encouraged fans to register to vote and dropped the link for headcount.org.
BTW, “down bad cryin at the gym” is (OBVIOUSLY) a Taylor Swift lyric from the musician’s song “Down Bad.” In case you haven’t already memorized it, this is the verse in question:
Now I’m down bad crying at the gym
Everything comes out teenage petulance
“What if I can’t have him”
“I might just die, it would make no difference.”
Down bad, waking up in blood
Staring at the sky, come back and pick me up

During the premiere, Gaga also said, “I am in the studio every single day. I have written so many songs, I’ve been producing so many songs, and it’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before. I love to break genre, and I love to explore music. There’s something really beautiful about knowing that you will be loved no matter what you do.”
She then added, “Something I’m definitely exploring right now is sort of the art of intensity and I think that the art of intensity actually began during this tour. But I’m not done with it yet.”
Not to be dramatic, but I CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER DAY.
