Kyle Richards is feeling better than ever after prioritizing her health.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, recently opened up about the physical transformation she’s made after dedicating herself to a better diet and workout regimen.

“I think back to when I was in my 20s and 30s, and I look better than I did then, and that’s after having four kids,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s definitely never too late. When I was younger, I used to work out to lose weight. Now it’s for me — first and foremost, my mental health. The fact that it makes me look good is just a bonus.”

Richards said she started focusing on her health journey in 2022 after having a breast reduction. She wasn’t able to work out for eight weeks while recovering and ultimately let herself go.

“At the time, I was on vacation in Europe, eating pasta and drinking wine and cocktails. By the end of the trip, I didn’t recognize myself,” she recalled. “I had also just lost my best friend to suicide, and I wasn’t taking care of myself. And [it was] making me feel more depressed. So after we left, I said, ‘That’s it. I’m not going to have bad carbs — no sugar, no pasta, no bread, no alcohol. And I’m going to work out every single day.’”

Results came extremely fast for the Halloween Ends actress and she admitted that going alcohol-free “made such a difference in my skin and how I felt.”

In addition to her diet, Richards has been going hard in the gym. Although she’s been working out since she was 15, she said she’s learned to switch up her fitness routine based on “what my body needs.” Instead of her typical hiking and spin classes, the reality TV star has now incorporated weight lifting, hot yoga and running, noting that exercise helps clear her head.

Richards’ recent progress in her weight loss journey also comes as she’s been going through a separation from Mauricio Umansky. However, she doesn’t classify her new look as a “revenge body.”

“It’s certainly not meant to be a revenge body. It’s meant to be an I-feel-good body,” she boasted, noting that she’s now done losing weight after settling at 117 lbs.

“I love the way I feel and look,” Richards added.
