Kristen Bell-Adam Brody Comedy Nobody Wants This Gets Fall Release Date at Netflix — See First Photo

Netflix has settled on a title for its upcoming Kristen Bell-Adam Brody comedy series — and we couldn’t disagree more with its sentiment.

The half-hour project, formerly known as Untitled Erin Foster Show, will now be called Nobody Wants This, and will premiere with all 10 episodes on Thursday, Sept. 26, Netflix announced Wednesday at its Upfront presentation.

Initially ordered in March 2023, Nobody Wants This follows the unlikely relationship between Joanne (Bell), an outspoken, agnostic woman, and Noah (Brody), an unconventional rabbi. The cast also includes Justine Lupe (Succession), Timothy Simons (Veep), Stephanie Faracy (True Colors), Tovah Feldshuh (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Paul Ben-Victor (The Wire), Michael Hitchcock (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Jackie Tohn (GLOW), Sherry Cola (Good Trouble), Emily Arlook (grown-ish) and Shiloh Bearman (Home Economics).

“This show is based on the only good decision I ever made: falling for a nice Jewish boy,” series creator and co-showrunner Erin Foster (The New Normal) said in a statement. “But I realized that being happy is way harder than being miserable (there’s nothing to complain about). So, I created this show based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard. Nobody Wants This, but we do, and that’s all that matters.”

Netflix has also released a first-look photo of the series, which you can view above. Will you be watching Nobody Wants This when it drops in September?
