Krispy Kreme Has New Frankenstein, Vampire, and Werewolf Donuts for Halloween
Krispy Kreme is making sure we don’t have a moment without a special batch of donuts to enjoy. For September, we were busy snacking on the four different types of pumpkin spice donuts that hit the menu. Now it’s time to get spooky with the donut shop’s Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme is welcoming its new Halloween donuts even a little bit earlier than it did last year (and I think we all deserve it at this point). Prepare to meet Frank, Drake, and Wolfie — the latest holiday treats who are almost too cute (in a scary way) to eat — you can order beginning on Oct. 5.
Frank Monster Doughnut: A Frankenstein-inspired doughnut filled with Original Kreme, dipped in green icing, and decorated like a classic monster with icing, sprinkles, and pretzel piece bolts
Drake Monster Doughnut: A vampire-inspired doughnut with raspberry filling, dipped in light purple icing, and decorated like a classic monster with icing and sugar piece eyes
Wolfie Monster Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and decorated like a werewolf with Chocolate Kreme, a sugar piece face, and cinnamon sugar cereal ears
In addition to the monster donuts, Krispy Kreme is introducing “Sweet-or-Treat” Saturdays. On every Saturday beginning on Oct. 10 through Halloween, you can get a $1 Sweet-or-Treat dozen with the purchase of any dozen. That Sweet-or-Treat Original Glazed dozen is individually wrapped for safe sharing, and there will be one special-edition Jack-o’-Lantern Doughnut in the bunch.
“This Halloween, we’re trading scary for sweet and helping fans create new ways to safely enjoy the season,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release. “Instead of asking for sweet treats, let’s give them away to all neighbors, family, and friends we appreciate so much. It’s not a normal Halloween, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it a sweet one.”
Don’t forget to show up at Krispy Kreme on Halloween! The shop will be giving guests who wear a costume a free donut of their choice. The offer is available at U.S. locations and drive-thrus. It’s going to be a sweet Halloween after all!
