Kourtney Kardashian Barker is looking back on her experience with in vitro fertilization.

On Monday, May 27, the POOSH founder, 45, answered fan questions on her Instagram Stories, including one from a follower who asked Kardashian Barker about her journey with IVF.

"Had 6 failed IVFs - how did you find the strength to keep going? It's debilitating 😪," the user asked.

"I stopped after a year of trying (5 failed IVF cycles, 3 retrievals) my body relaxed and I believed in God's plan for my life," Kardashian Barker wrote. "Lots of prayers for whatever was meant to be for us. Also lots of optimizing my health. 🙏🏻❤️ I know how hard it is to feel like you're not trying, but believing in God's plan and saying your prayers is so powerful. All the best!"

Kardashian Barker and husband Travis Barker welcomed their first baby together, son Rocky Thirteen, in November.

On a season 4 episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme founder said she and the Blink-182 drummer were taken by surprise when she got pregnant after deciding to take a break following a grueling IVF cycle.

"It happened on Valentine's Day," Kardashian Barker said of conceiving her little one. "I mean, people would always tell say to us, 'When you stop trying, it's just going to happen.'"

"We stopped doing IVF probably two months before our wedding and so it took a year for all those hormones and chemicals to get out of my system," she continued.

"We were not trying whatsoever. I wasn't even checking my ovulation anymore. We decided to put it in God's hands and thought it was just not happening. We were accepting of it and then... God's plan."

Later on, the reality star said it "truly feels like a miracle being able to be pregnant and have a baby with the love of my life."

In addition to Rocky, Barker is also father to son Landon, 20, daughter Alabama, 18, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kardashian Barker shares sons Reign Aston, 9, and Mason Dash, 14, plus daughter Penelope Scotland, 11, with ex Scott Disick.
