S. Korea's Yoon sings 'American Pie'

STORY: The surprise performance occured at the entertainment section of a White House state dinner on Wednesday evening, where U.S. President Joe Biden prompted Yoon to sing the song, having learned it was his favourite.

An impressed Biden went on to present Yoon with a guitar bearing the signature of Don McLean himself, the writer of the song.

Yoon’s performance came after a day of talks between Biden and Yoon that covered issues including North Korea, semiconductor chips, trade, and the Ukraine war.
