Klondike’s New Donut Ice Cream Bars Come in 3 Flavors — and One Is Covered in Sprinkles
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to eat a Klondike ice cream bar that has a hole cut in the middle? Neither have we, but that must be because we weren’t thinking about them the right way. Klondike’s new frozen dairy dessert brings new flavors and a new design to enjoy them in.
Klondike Donuts are rolling out in stores in Boston Cream, Triple Chocolate, and Frosted Strawberry flavors. The first flavor starts with a Boston cream-flavored frozen dairy dessert that has a Boston cream swirl. It’s coated in chocolate and topped with a white confectionary drizzle. Of course, there’s a hole in the middle so it look like a donut — a square donut, but still a donut.
The Triple Chocolate flavor starts with a chocolate frozen dairy dessert that has a dark chocolatey coating, dark crunch pieces, and a milk chocolatey drizzle, as described by Tami Dunn’s YouTube channel. And finally, the Klondike Donuts Frosted Strawberry is made up of a strawberry frozen dairy dessert with a strawberry swirl. It’s coated in milk chocolate and topped with colorful sprinkles and a white confectionary drizzle. It’s decided: we have to try them all.
“What would you do for a Klondike bar? A lot, right? What would you do for a donut-shaped Klondike bar coated with incredible donut toppings? Maybe we don’t want to know …” the description says. Honestly, you probably don’t want to know, Klondike, because these flavors sound freaking delicious.
While the Klondike Donuts are available at Meijer and Kroger now, the three flavors will be available nationwide in March 2020. We think the amount of ice cream being taken away from us with that hole in the middle is more than made up for with these donut-inspired flavors!
