KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher in line with the stronger underlying cash market.
At the close, spot month January 2020, February 2020 and June 2020 all increased by 15.0 points to 1614.50, 1,616.0 and 1,609.0 respectively, while March 2020 added 15.5 points to 1610.5.
Turnover stood at 9,776 lots, with open interest at 38,426 contracts.
At the closing bell, the benchmark FBM KLCI rose by 13.28 points to 1,611.04 from yesterday's close of 1,597.76.
