King Charles and Queen Consort Arrive to Cheers at Buckingham Palace

Crowds cheered as King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, arrived at Buckingham Palace in London on Friday, September 9, following the death on Thursday of Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth II, at the royal residence in Balmoral, Scotland.

It was the first time Charles had arrived at the palace as king.
