Merry Christmas from the royal family to yours.

On Saturday, King Charles and Queen Camilla released their annual 2024 Christmas card. In the snapshot—which was taken by Millie Pilkington (Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding photographer) in the gardens of Buckingham Palace back April—the couple wore matching outfits in the season's most underrated color: royal blue.

While red and green are more traditional hues for the holidays, blue is still a festive option that's often skipped over. Giving the shade the proper attention it deserves, Camilla wore a blue wool crepe dress by Fiona Clare that featured a ruffled bodice and a pleated skirt. Meanwhile, Charles opted for a light gray suit with a blue tie that coordinated with Camilla's look.

"Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year," the inside of the card read.

Charles and Camilla's holiday wishes come after a tumultuous year marked by health issues for both of them. At the start of 2024, Charles was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing a procedure for benign prostate enlargement, while Camilla has been battling the post-viral effects of pneumonia since November, forcing her to cancel several royal engagements—including Remembrance Sunday and the Royal Variety Performance several weeks later.

Despite appearing to be on the mend, it was reported that those close to the queen are worried about her health. "We are all extremely concerned that this happened," a friend of the queen's told the Daily Beast. "Thank goodness she seems to have recovered. Camilla just needs to rest and recuperate now over Christmas and I only hope they drive her and The King to church on Christmas Day if it's cold!"
