Kim Kardashian had made some adjustments along her course of parenting.
The SKKN founder, 43, tells Bustle that when it comes to raising her four kids — Psalm, 4. Chicago, 6, Saint, 8, and North, 10 — she's changed her mind on how to approach certain parenting moments.
When it comes to glam, for example, the mogul mom says that while North has experimented for some time, [Chicago]'s too little and I don't let her."
"I look back and there's times when I remember I let my daughter wear a red lip once for Christmas. Would I do that now? Probably not," she says.
"At least with my oldest daughter, she just likes to dress her friends up and do makeup looks, whether it's like Pikachu or the Grinch," she continues. "I don't think she’s there yet to where she is going into Sephora and trying on stuff."
"We were at Saks in the makeup department the other night and she tested something but put a heart on her face with it. I'm like, I don't think that's really why you use eyeliner," she laughs.

That said, Kardashian isn't opposed to the little girls exploring mom's makeup at home.
"They are always trying to use everything that I have in my drawers. I think it's a fun game for them. It’s art for them to try to do makeup, which is so fun for me to watch," she shares.
"It's like they want to play with their friends and do it, and then they want to just wash it right off. I'm down for the artistry. I think it's fun when they're trying it all and expressing themselves."
Earlier this month, the SKIMS founder posted photos from Chicago’s Bratz-themed birthday party as she turned 6, which included a heart-shaped birthday cake and Chicago’s very own fashion runway.
Kardashian first shared a snap of the pink runway for the party set up indoors as three Bratz doll cutouts in the likeness of Chicago were displayed with pink balloons on the floor. An arch with Chicago’s name printed in large Bratz purple font stood in the background.
In another snap, a menu for some of the bash's drinks advertised "Chi's Fashion Floats," in strawberry, Creamsicle, root beer, cherry Coke and Coke flavors.
A follow-up video showed Chicago and cousin Dream, whose parents are Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, walking the runway together during the party.
In December, Kardashian took her two daughters to see Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas One And All! show at the Hollywood Bowl, which she shared glimpses of on her Instagram Story.
In the first post, Kardashian filmed the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer on stage. "Legendary!!! @mariahcarey" the reality star wrote over the video.
Next, Kardashian filmed a selfie video in which Chicago appeared to be asleep during the show. The little one had a pair of sunglasses on as she rested in her mom's arms.
"LOL" was written across the clip, which also showed Kardashian's oldest daughter North and a friend having fun in the background as the festive track "Sleigh Ride" was heard.
