Kim Kardashian Just Debuted a Major Shaggy Mullet Hair Transformation

Despite being known for her long raven locks, the reality star-turned-business mogul recently debuted a new hairstyle on social media, and it’s one that honors a very special occasion: Kim’s fashion brand, Skims, collaborating with high-fashion designer Dolce & Gabbana on a limited edition collection.
As one does, the celeb took to Instagram to share the news with a number of story and grid posts, all featuring the vintage hairstyle in question.
Per many Kardashian-Jenner hair transformations, we’re going to assume that this look has been achieved via a wig. After all, it was only a few weeks ago that Kim stepped out with a shoulder-length bob. Nevertheless, major props go out to the hairstylist for the occasion, Jake Gallagher, who mastered the classic shaggy mullet.
Case in point: The reality star’s ‘do perfectly demonstrates rock ‘n’ roll layers. Traditionally the lengths hit between the collarbone and chest, but frame the face with shape and texture. Think: Mick Jagger’s iconic look circa 1975. Plus, there’s also the tapered length, shorter sides, and micro fringe, which together make for an iconic shag-mullet hybrid. Honestly, the whole thing is truly just *chef’s kiss*.
